Library on Wheels
Our mission is to encourage reading and provide access to materials for all the residents of our two county region. Our "Library on Wheels" provides personalized, comprehensive library service to people who may have difficulty visiting a community library.
Services
The Bookmobile
carries a wide variety of books: large type books; storybooks, picture books and
easy readers; juvenile fiction and non-fiction; young adult fiction; adult
fiction and non-fiction; and adult paperbacks.
Visits
We visit
towns, schools, and nursing care facilities on a monthly schedule. There are
off-road days to allow the staff to download the circulation files into the main
system, restock the Bookmobile, search for requests, and perform other office
tasks.
Stop
Selection
The selection of stops is based on a variety
of factors including distance from a community library, mobility of customers,
and service needs. Suggestions of new stops are welcome. Contact

Schedule variations may occur due to weather, road, or mechanical failure.
